Showcasing
the bleeding edge
Welcome to rePrint! I’m Caro, a postdoc with a particular interest in preprints and the barrier-free access they provide to new science. Preprints are cemented into my routine; I start most mornings with a coffee and my bioRxiv alerts. This early access is a chance to see research at first submission, when ideas are still fresh, incomplete, and actively evolving. Before peer review refines the narrative, preprints allow you to see the process of how stories emerge organically from data.
I started rePrint as a personal project to broaden my knowledge of bleeding-edge research across many research fields, not just my own little niche. Here, I highlight recent bioRxiv (and occasionally medRxiv and arXiv) publications that I found genuinely interesting, before they hit peer-reviewed journals.
